Its distinctive small cabins make it easily recognisable and it serves as an important base between western and central Pirin.

How to get there

The classic approach starts from Popina Laka on a marked hiking trail.

Marked routes also connect the shelter with Vihren, Sinanitsa and Begovitsa huts.

A popular route continues from here through the Chairski Lakes toward Tevno Ezero Shelter.
