BGMountainGuide is a website and mobile application designed to help users discover mountain routes, peaks, lakes, shelters and other points of interest in Bulgaria, view maps and use location features while navigating in the mountains.

The BGMountainGuide mobile application may request access to your device's precise location in order to show your current position on the map and support route navigation.

If background location access is enabled, location services may continue to operate while the application is in the background or while the screen is locked so that route navigation can continue.

BGMountainGuide does not require a user account and does not intentionally store your precise GPS location history on BGMountainGuide-owned servers.

You can change or revoke location permissions at any time through your iPhone settings:

Disabling location access may limit map positioning and route navigation functionality.

The website and mobile application do not currently require an account to browse routes, lakes, shelters or other content.

If you voluntarily contact BGMountainGuide, the information you include in your message may be used to respond to your enquiry.

Hosting, mapping and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, requested resources, browser or device information and technical logs where necessary for security, reliability, service delivery and protection against abuse.

Limited diagnostic information may also be processed for app functionality, infrastructure security and service reliability.

BGMountainGuide uses third-party mapping and infrastructure services to provide maps and related functionality.

These services may process limited technical information required to deliver map resources, protect their systems and maintain the reliability of their services.

BGMountainGuide does not currently include advertising or marketing tracking in its website or mobile application.
