How to get there

FROM LEDENO EZERO: The classic marked trail climbs steeply from Ledeno Ezero Shelter to Musala Peak.

TIME: In normal snow-free conditions the section from Ledeno Ezero to the summit normally takes approximately 30–45 minutes.

OTHER APPROACHES: High-ridge routes also reach Musala, but several are considerably more difficult and unsuitable for inexperienced hikers.
